“I have been coming to BBC for a little over 1 year now. I actually had already been on my own fitness journey when I started. All<\/p>\n

of my adult life I had been a yo-yo dieter and on again, off again exerciser. I have bounced between a size 14 and 10. I had started videos using free weights at home. It wasn’t until I started P90X that I paid more attention to nutrition. I had great results after my 90 days. And then was like “now what?” I then started Insanity, Chalene Extreme and on to Julian Michaels. I get bored easily with the same routine. I now knew every DVD by heart and got bored.<\/p>\n

I drove by BBC and made the call for a 2 week free trial. Whoo hoo! I observed a class first and thought, oh I think I can do this! As most new campers do, I migrated to the back of the class. Wow,
\ndid I ever SWEAT. I was so sore for about 3 days. After my 2 weeks with doing a different workout every time, I was hooked. I have never gotten bored there with always doing new exercises.<\/p>\n

What I did learn in the beginning was more about nutrition. As I said earlier, I was somewhat a little educated in this. However, one of the first things Devan pointed out to me was the chemicals and preservatives in my daily diet. I instantly made some changes and headaches were the first to immediately go away. I dropped 6% body fat my first month. Now I am a size 6! I have learned to eat clean and meal prep. This along with getting pushed into lifting a heavier weight combined is how I have seriously sped up my metabolism.<\/p>\n

I am in the best shape as a 49 year old woman and new grandmother than I EVER was the day I got married 27 years ago. There is absolutely no competition between the women either. Every lady has the same goal to get healthy and more fit and we all cheer each other on. What I have taken home from bbc is that I will never Diet again. It is about getting healthy and not the number on the scale. It is a daily lifestyle with a little cheating every now and then. As BBC trainers say, “get better every day”.<\/p>\n
