



{"id":4058,"date":"2012-06-10T02:44:04","date_gmt":"2012-06-10T02:44:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/devanklinefitness.com\/?p=788"},"modified":"2018-03-14T14:49:35","modified_gmt":"2018-03-14T18:49:35","slug":"emilys-recipes-for-kids","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/burnbootcamp.com\/emilys-recipes-for-kids\/","title":{"rendered":"Emily&#8217;s Recipes for Kids"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Emily&#8217;s Whole wheat banana muffins:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>RECIPE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mash 3 bananas.<\/p>\n<p>Add 1 egg,<\/p>\n<p>4 tbs melted butter or oil (coconut oil works well),<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup-1 cup sugar (I use the least amount possible),<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 tsp salt, 1\/2 tsp baking soda and 1 tbs. baking powder.<\/p>\n<p>You can add vanilla or coffee to flavor it too.<\/p>\n<p>Then add 1 1\/2 cup flour. I use white whole wheat or regular whole wheat. I also add flax seed, 1\/4 cup to 1\/2 cup.<br \/>\nAdd chocolate chips (1\/2 cup to 1 cup).<\/p>\n<p>Stir until mixed, but don&#8217;t stir too much. If it is to dry, pour in some milk (almond or regular) or unsweetened applesauce.<br \/>\nBake at 350 for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.<\/p>\n<p>I make these muffins at least twice a week, when my bananas start to get brown.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emily&#8217;s Energy Bites<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/t2.gstatic.com\/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRJtm0Q1l-qSw4FgoXd2C3tESqZDXYocu4oUK0mua9Hjc5jolKQ\" alt=\"\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>RECIPE<\/strong><br \/>\n1 cup old fashioned oats<br \/>\n1 cup toasted coconut (I used the sweetened kind), toast under the broiler<br \/>\n1\/2 cup ground flax seed<br \/>\n1\/2 cup chocolate chips ( I used 1\/4 cup \u00a0whole and 1\/4 cup melted)<br \/>\n1\/2 cup peanut butter<br \/>\n1\/3 cup honey<\/p>\n<p>Mix all ingredients together, roll into balls, refrigerate till solid. Keep in refrigerator.<\/p>\n<p>Tip to make the recipe a little easier:<br \/>\nMelt 1\/4 cup chocolate chips with the peanut butter.
