Your dedication powers our mission to transform lives, one rep at a time.

This year, we set new goals and then surpassed them.

From the delicious drop of Cookies and Cream and Caramel Macchiato Afterburn to the refreshing launches of Replenish Cherry Frost and Fruit Punch, our Burn Nutrition lineup had a glow-up that fueled thousands of Camps nationwide.

We trained with intention, introducing Training Cycles and PR Weeks to challenge, measure, and celebrate progress like never before.

We showed up BIG for causes that matter. Through our 2025 “Be Their Muscle” campaign, Burn Nation raised nearly $500,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, including an unforgettable Camp at Energizer Park in St. Louis. That’s an impact beyond the Floating Floor. That’s heart and commitment in motion.

We inspired confidence through our Proud Campaign, reaching millions with a message that celebrated strength, identity, and belonging.

Burn On Demand grew stronger with powerful new categories: Motherhood Pregnancy Workouts, Menopause Education Series, and Nutrition Education Series, designed to meet Members exactly where they are in life. Wherever you are, we’re right there with you.

Our podcast lit up the airwaves in Season 3 with incredible guests, including former NFL quarterback Nick Foles, NFL punter Pat O’Donnell, their powerhouse wives, Tori and Shelby, celebrity trainer Ron “Boss” Everline, and one of the most influential figures in fitness and mindset today, Jordan Syatt. These conversations moved minds, lifted spirits, and reminded us why we do what we do.

Of course, Athlete Games brought the FIRE once again. And every push-up, burpee, and med ball slam was a reminder that our strength isn’t just physical, it’s collective.

Burn Nation doesn’t just witness change; we create it.

To our Members, Franchise Partners, Trainers, and Staff: your hustle, belief, and relentless energy are what make this movement unshakable. You show us every day that strength is a choice, and commitment is contagious. We couldn’t be more proud.

Let’s carry this fire into 2026: stronger, bolder, and more united than ever.

Highlighting Strength, Resilience, and Confidence at Every Age https://burnbootcamp.com/highlighting-strength-resilience-and-confidence-at-every-age/ Mon, 15 Sep 2025 15:52:33 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2792180 We’re excited to announce the launch of our Proud campaign, a movement designed to inspire people everywhere to celebrate strength, not just the weight you pick up, but how you live.

We’re creating a space where strength is celebrated in every form—physical, mental, and emotional—and where people everywhere are inspired to carry that strength into their lives, their communities, and the moments that matter most.

At the heart of the campaign are real stories from Burn Boot Camp Members across the country. Bonnie, 78, celebrates her dedication to strength training, which supports bone longevity and allows her to stay strong for her family. Amanda, who has completed over 50 Camps, has found not just a place to work out, but a community that believes in her as much as she believes in herself. Anna, a mom of young kids, is building stamina so she can keep up with her children—while showing them the value of health and resilience.

“Strength looks different for everyone,” says Morgan Kline, CEO & Co-Founder of Burn Boot Camp. “For some, it’s lifting heavier than they ever thought possible. For others, it’s being present for their family or setting an example for their kids. We want to inspire people everywhere, not just inside our gyms, to pause and reflect on their own journey.”

The Proud campaign extends beyond health and wellness, it’s a call to spread positivity, spark conversations, and remind everyone that pride grows in the everyday moments we show up for ourselves.

Our 2025 ‘Be Their Muscle’ Campaign Raised Nearly $500,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association https://burnbootcamp.com/our-2025-be-their-muscle-campaign-raised-nearly-500000-for-the-muscular-dystrophy-association/ Tue, 10 Jun 2025 16:41:42 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2792036 We’re proud to announce the success of our ninth annual “Be Their Muscle” fundraising campaign for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Burn Nation has raised $465,500 to date in vital support for research, care, advocacy, and MDA Summer Camp, an achievement made possible by the passion of our Members, Franchise Partners, Trainers, and team members.

Since its founding, MDA has spent 75 years championing people living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and over 300 related neuromuscular diseases. More than 300 Burn Boot Camp locations nationwide rallied this spring on Saturday, April 12th, to power this year’s campaign. New for 2025, our youngest Members under 13 hopped onto the signature Floating Floor during MDA’s Hop-a-thon, completing a two-minute jump challenge to raise funds and critical disability awareness for Burn Boot Camp’s kids nationwide.

In St. Louis, Burn Nation converged at Energizer Park for an unforgettable Camp built on community and purpose. Hundreds of Members and non-members joined us for a one-of-a-kind outdoor workout, an expert-led bodyweight conditioning Camp with heart-pounding music, high fives, and a special Kids Camp, all powered by a $25 donation. Attendees braved the Missouri elements to push their own limits and cheer each other on, united in the belief that “real strength comes from lifting each other up, inside the gym and beyond.”

“This campaign is one of the most inspiring times of the year, as our Members and team come together to uplift a community that truly needs our strength,” said Morgan Kline, CEO and Co-Founder of Burn Boot Camp. “When two missions built on community and empowerment unite, we create unstoppable momentum. Together, we’re not just raising funds; we’re changing lives and helping people with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and many other neuromuscular diseases live longer and more independently.”

Strength is built in the work, but transformation happens in the connection, and this year’s “Be Their Muscle” campaign proved it. We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined: your dedication and generosity empower MDA’s life-changing work and send even more kids to MDA Summer Camp, where lifelong friendships blossom and futures ignite.

“Morgan and Devan Kline have been champions for the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s mission since the very beginning. Long before Burn Boot Camp became a national movement, they were volunteering as counselors at MDA Summer Camp, connecting with families and experiencing the heart of our work firsthand. Nearly a decade later, their dedication has grown into a powerful legacy of support that continues to uplift and empower the families we serve nationwide. As we celebrate MDA’s 75th anniversary, their leadership through the ‘Be Their Muscle’ campaign exemplifies the momentum and progress we’ve built over generations, and we’re so grateful for their partnership! They’ve rallied an extraordinary community that shares their passion for strength, unity, and hope,” said Ruth Ann Dailey, Chief Development Officer, Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Ending the Year Committed, Confident, and Strong: A Thank You to Burn Nation  https://burnbootcamp.com/ending-the-year-committed-confident-and-strong-a-thank-you-to-burn-nation/ Mon, 30 Dec 2024 13:00:00 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2791533 As 2024 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on what has been an incredible year for Burn Boot Camp and, more importantly, for the thousands of lives we’ve impacted. None of this would be possible without YOU, our dedicated Members who show up, push hard and remind us every single day of our “why.” Your commitment fuels our mission to transform lives and redefine the fitness industry. Let’s celebrate some of the extraordinary moments we’ve shared this year.

This year, we took Camp to new heights—literally. At the Texas Motor Speedway, Burn On Demand graced the world’s largest Big Hoss TV, solidifying our mission to make fitness accessible anywhere, anytime. It was truly a moment that showcased the power of Burn Nation.

From Texas to D.C., we made our mark. Together, we gathered for an epic workout at the National Mall, raising critical funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Against the stunning backdrop of one of our nation’s most iconic landmarks, we united for a cause bigger than ourselves. That’s the heart of Burn—combining our community’s strength and purpose to make an impact.

We also launched the Confidence Takes Reps National Campaign, a reminder that confidence isn’t just a feeling; it’s the key to unlocking your potential. It doesn’t just get you through a tough Camp; it gets you through any challenge. And it’s built rep by rep.

We’re closing out this year stronger, faster, and more fired up than ever. We dropped the game-changer: Peanut Butter Cup Afterburn bars, powering every rep and coming to the rescue in recovery.

We fueled Camp with the new Blue Raspberry Ignite, making you unstoppable even when you feel spent before you step on the Floating Floor.

Burn On Demand grew stronger this year, too. We added exciting new categories like Roadtrip for workouts while you travel and Mental Strength for building resilience in both body and mind. These new categories are designed to meet you wherever you are, helping you stay consistent, focused, and ready to conquer anything.

We also welcomed Missy Franklin, a five-time Olympic gold medalist, to Burn Nation as our Brand Champion. Her energy and passion for empowering others perfectly align with our mission to inspire confidence and strength in everyone we touch.

National Burpee Day? Oh, we crushed it! Burn Nation showed up, repping the movement we love to hate, proving once again that no challenge is too great when we do it together. Over 1,100 of you showed up strong at Summit 2024 in Charlotte, and more than 15,000 tuned in to witness our biggest Athlete Games yet. You’ve proven what’s possible—together, we’re just getting started.

And as for recognition? This year, Burn Boot Camp secured its place among the best in business with awards like the INC 5000 list, Franchise Times Top 400, CBJ Power 100 Innovators List, and Entrepreneur’s Top 15 Fitness Franchises. These aren’t just accolades; they’re proof that we’re changing lives and leading the way in the fitness industry.

To our Members, Franchise Partners, Trainers, and Staff: Thank you for your belief, your hustle, and your heart. Together, we’re building something bigger than ourselves. Here’s to more reps, more wins, and more transformations in 2025.

Let’s keep showing up, Burn Nation. The best is yet to come.

16 essentials you need for your next summer road trip https://burnbootcamp.com/16-essentials-you-need-for-your-next-summer-road-trip/ Wed, 26 Jun 2024 20:06:17 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2790039 Heading out on a summer road trip is an exciting adventure filled with endless possibilities for exploration and relaxation. Whether you’re planning a cross-country journey or a weekend getaway, being prepared with the right essentials can make all the difference in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. From practical items like sunscreen and snacks to comfort essentials such as pillows and blankets, having these necessities on hand ensures you’re ready for whatever the road may bring. We’ve curated a list of 16 must-have essentials that will elevate your next summer road trip, ensuring you can focus on making memories and enjoying the journey ahead.

First Aid Kit

A well-stocked first aid kit is important to bring with you on your summer adventures. Whether you’re removing a splinter, treating a bug bite, or cleaning a cut, a first aid kit is a simple yet vital precaution that can help you with nearly any minor injury or incident. You want to enjoy your road trip safely and comfortably, so this should be one of the first things in your car.

Ignite

It’s hard to imagine taking a long road trip without some caffeine in your cup holder. Burn Boot Camp’s pre-workout doesn’t have to just be taken before Camp. Ignite has 40 milligrams of natural plant-derived caffeine per serving, so you can take as much or as little as needed to help you stay awake and energized on the road. Ignite is derived from coffee leaves and seeds and excludes artificial ingredients, so you don’t have to worry about consuming harmful chemicals found in some energy drinks.

Headphones

Let’s face it. There are parts of your road trip that can be… boring. You may hear, “Are we there yet,” one too many times or catch yourself yawning a little too often. Driving down the interstate on cruise control may not be the most exciting part of the trip, but is often a necessity to get to where you want to go. Packing a pair of headphones for your passengers (kids with short attention spans) can make these dull parts of the trip feel much more bearable. Plus, while they’re listening to their favorite songs or watching a movie on their tablet, you can blast the Burn Boot Camp podcast from your speakers. Our podcast promises to inspire you on your journey toward health and wellness with incredible transformation stories, game-changing advice, and even a good laugh or two. You can catch new episodes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on both Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Snacks

What’s a road trip without a bag of all your favorite snacks? Healthy snacks like nuts, fruits, and protein bars provide essential nutrients and can help prevent fatigue and ‘hangry’ mood swings. Trust us, we’ve all been there. Sometimes you want to just get to your next stop without having to go off-route to get food from drive throughs and gas stations. That’s why it’s important to stay stocked with great, travel-friendly snacks, like Burn Boot Camp’s Afterburn Bars. These delicious bars contain 17 grams of protein, are low in sugar, and are available in triple chocolate and cookies and cream. You can stock up on these bars for your road trip by visiting your local Burn Boot Camp gym or shopping online.

Sunscreen

Road trips often involve spending extended periods of time outdoors, whether you’re checking out the national parks, making your way to the coast, or riding roller coasters at a theme park. By applying sunscreen regularly, you can protect your skin from the harmful effects of sunburns and prolonged exposure to the sun’s UV rays. Sunscreen can also help keep your skin moisturized and reduce the likelihood of dryness or irritation caused by sun exposure. Grab your favorite sunscreen spray, lotion, or roll-on stick and enjoy the outdoors worry-free.

Burn On Demand

Taking a break from Camp to spend time traveling with your loved ones doesn’t mean you need to also take a break from your fitness routine. Stay on your journey to strength and keep your streak going with our Burn On Demand series, Road Trip Workouts. You can get a full week’s Protocol with 20 and 30-minute Camps that require little or no equipment. All you need to pack is your phone, a jumprope, and a pair of weights. You can try Burn On Demand for 7 days with our free trial, or become a Burn On Demand Member through the Burn Boot Camp app today.

Reusable Water Bottle

It’s essential to stay hydrated on your summer vacations, especially when spending time under the sun and in hot weather. Your 40 ounce tumbler isn’t just there for emotional support. When temperatures rise, our bodies lose water through sweat at a faster rate, which can lead to dehydration. Drinking enough water can help regulate your body temperature, ensure proper circulation, and support organ function. For extra hydration and electrolytes, pack a canister of Burn Boot Camp’s Replenish. Replenish is a sugar-free electrolyte supplement to help restore essential minerals lost during sweating. You can pick up a canister of lemon-lime or orange Replenish at your local Burn Boot Camp gym.

A Good Book

You know that book you’ve been putting off? The one that’s been collecting dust but you keep meaning to read? A road trip is the perfect excuse to break open that book and finally move the bookmark to another page. If you’re looking for a great book for your summer road trip, grab your copy of our life-changing book, Burn: The Burn Boot Camp 5-Step Strategy for Inner and Outer Strength. BURN can help you shed old habits and embrace untapped potential by redefining your life through the dual pillars of physical and mental strength. This is a book for people who struggle with their self-improvement efforts and is based on one powerful assertion that makes this book radically different from others in this category: when your body moves, your psychology also changes for the better. Grab your copy today and enjoy all that BURN has to offer on your road trip.

Dramamine

Packing Dramamine, or other motion sickness medications, is important if you tend to get nauseous or sick during car rides. Motion sickness can unexpectedly affect travelers of all ages during long trips. Dramamine is especially valuable to help prevent you, your kids, or your friends from feeling sick while reading a book or looking at a tablet or screen. Including Dramamine in your travel kit provides peace of mind and helps maintain a smooth and enjoyable road trip experience for all passengers.

A Comfy Sweatshirt

Despite the typical warm weather during the day, evenings and mornings in the summer can be unexpectedly cool, especially near water and in higher altitudes. Keeping a cozy sweatshirt on hand is key for summer road trips, whether you’re sleeping in a tent at night or stargazing on the beach. You’ll also want to be as comfortable as possible when traveling long-distance, so a sweatshirt or jacket is the perfect road trip essential to have with you in the car. Burn Boot Camp has the best and coziest sweatshirts that are perfect for your next road trip!

Chargers and Portable Batteries

Smartphones, GPS devices, and cameras are all necessities for traveling. A cell phone dying while you’re hiking a secluded trail or your navigation system glitching from a low battery while taking back roads can feel like road trip nightmares. The good thing? They’re both avoidable when pack the essentials. Bringing portable batteries and car chargers for your electronics can help you be prepared for emergencies, allow you to navigate effectively, and document your trip to share your experiences seamlessly.

Sunglasses

Sunglasses are important to have not only in the car while you’re driving, but also while you’re exploring your outdoor destinations. The right pair of sunglasses can enhance your overall experience by allowing you to fully appreciate scenic views without having to squint or cover your eyes from the sun. Whether you’re cruising through sunny landscapes, getting out of the car to see picturesque landmarks, or simply relaxing in the sun, sunglasses can be a crucial accessory for any traveler’s packing list.

Pillow and Blanket

Summer road trips can feel exhausting, especially for little ones who are used to naps and extra sleep. Having a pillow and blanket readily available ensures you can create a cozy and restful environment inside the vehicle, making your summer road trip more enjoyable and rejuvenating. It may be underestimated, but a pillow and blanket are essential for when your kids are sleeping in the backseat, you need to take a nap-break at a rest area, or you’re just a little chilly from the car air conditioning blasting on your legs.

Cooler

For when you want to pull over to enjoy a quick picnic or get tired of greasy fast food and gas station snacks, a cooler is perfect to keep in the car to enjoy drinks and snacks that need to stay cold. You can pack a variety of healthy options, like fresh produce, sandwiches, or yogurt. Coolers can also help you save money by prepping your meals and avoiding expensive restaurants. You could even fill it with your favorite protein-shake base and pack a few scoops of our Afterburn protein powder to get protein on the go.

Chapstick

Chapstick goes hand-in-hand with staying hydrated in the summer heat, especially if you’re going somewhere with dry weather. It’s easy to carry or keep in your car for whenever you need it. Lip balm that has SPF protection can help prevent sunburn and reduce the risk of painful blisters that could make a fun road trip uncomfortable. We want you to spend more time outdoors hiking, swimming, exploring, and sightseeing, and less time recovering from sun exposure and dry heat.

Hand Sanitizer

Traveling in the car means you might not always have access to a bathroom to wash your hands. Even when you do get access to a public restroom, it could be a rest-stop facility that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks or a fast-food bathroom that makes you feel less clean than before you washed your hands. Furthermore, outdoor activities may expose you to dirt, bacteria, and potential contaminants. Having hand sanitizer readily accessible ensures you can keep your hands clean before eating, after touching shared surfaces, or after handling money.

We hope you enjoy where life takes you this summer. Tag @burnbootcamp on Instagram to share your road trip essentials and share this post with a friend who you want to join you!

BURN: THE BURN BOOT CAMP FIVE-STEP STRATEGY FOR INNER AND OUTER STRENGTH https://burnbootcamp.com/burn-the-burn-boot-camp-five-step-strategy-for-inner-and-outer-strength/ Mon, 17 Jun 2024 21:38:08 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2789874 ABOUT THE BOOK

Burn: The Burn Boot Camp 5-Step Strategy for Inner and Outer Strength offers a fresh, transformative lifestyle plan for those who are struggling with self-improvement. Devan and Morgan Kline share what they’ve learned over the years and their expertise in the health and fitness industry. BURN introduces a holistic approach that goes beyond the conventional boundaries of other fitness books.

BURN outlines a five-point strategic plan that’s designed to break self-sabotaging and bad habits like eating junk food, drinking too much, and not exercising enough. In turn, this change can lead to decreased feelings of depression, increased happiness, and the cultivation of a life you love.

  1. BURN: The first step in the strategy will cause powerful shifts in the way you carry yourself through life by moving your body. The Klines provide a series of unique, fun, and challenging workouts to help get you more active.
  2. BELIEVE: The second step focuses on breaking negative patterns to find your motivation. You’ll be able to identify internal resistance, adjust your attitude, build a plan, and create momentum for lasting change.
  3. NOURISH: You’ll find foods that build strength and self-confidence without feeling restricted and deprived. This step provides a gradual approach to developing healthy habits and includes more than 50 delicious and nutritious recipes you can make in ten minutes or less.
  4. ACHIEVE: Identify your guiding life goal and create actionable steps. It’s critical to set goals for yourself, but success comes from removing the focus from the finish line and placing it on the dedication, commitment, and hard work it takes to cross it.
  5. CONNECT: The final step emphasizes the importance behind finding time and space to connect with friends and family. Your community gives you the encouragement and accountability you need as you gain inner and outer strength.

Grab your copy of Burn: The Burn Boot Camp 5-Step Strategy for Inner and Outer Strength from your local Burn Boot Camp gym or order it from one of these major retailers today. We can’t wait to go on this journey to redefining your life with you.

Continuing to show up day after day is something that you should be proud of, especially when you’re in the season of summer vacations and relaxing by the pool. You’re not only showing up for you, but for your family, your friends, and your Burn besties. You know it’s summertime when you’re cooling off from the heat by sipping your favorite summer drinks. Whether you crave green apple, peach, or pink lemonade, we have nutrition products that can help you create delicious mocktails all summer long. The Benefits of Conditioning and Tips to Love Cardio Days https://burnbootcamp.com/the-benefits-of-conditioning-and-tips-to-love-cardio-days/ Fri, 31 May 2024 20:33:09 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2789770 WHY WE’RE USING *THAT WORD*

Yes, we mean “that word,” as in conditioning. If that word felt like a jump scare, you’re in the right place. People tend to either love or hate conditioning – and that’s okay. We want to help you understand the benefits of cardio and why it’s an important part of Protocol.

Throughout June, we’re taking a brief break from progressive overload with strength movements and instead focusing on a three-exercise conditioning challenge. Over the next four weeks, our goal is to enhance our cardiovascular systems by increasing completed rounds and reps of three different exercises. Conditioning offers numerous benefits, including strengthening our most vital muscle: our heart. It improves circulation and lowers blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

THE BENEFITS OF CONDITIONING

In addition to its physical benefits, perhaps the most crucial aspect of increasing conditioning and cardiovascular capacity is its significant contribution to improving quality of life. Enhanced endurance and stamina resulting from regular conditioning exercises enable us to perform daily activities more effectively. This means tasks like picking up our kids, tidying up toys, and even walking up stairs no longer seem as daunting. Improved cardiovascular health leads to increased energy levels and reduced fatigue, aiding in our recovery and helping us achieve our Camp goals more efficiently. Moreover, heightened cardiovascular capacity promotes better stress management and mental well-being, as exercise triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural mood lifters.

TIPS TO IMPROVE & LOVE CONDITIONING

Stay Consistent: Make conditioning a regular part of your workout routine. It may be tempting to skip the conditioning days when you see them on the Protocol, but continuing to show up for Burst, Bodyweight Conditioning, and Speed and Agility will help you improve these high-intensity movements. As you continue to show up for conditioning, you’ll likely find yourself enjoying the workouts more and more. You’ll develop a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that fuels your motivation to keep going. Eventually, what once felt like a chore will transform into a enjoyable part of your fitness routine. Plus – there’s really nothing better than that rewarding, sweaty post-Camp feeling where you feel proud of yourself for pushing your limits and expectations.

Challenge Yourself: As you continue to incorporate conditioning, your body adapts and becomes more efficient at performing these exercises. You’ll be able to gradually increase the intensity and duration of your conditioning workouts over time. This progressive approach challenges your body to adapt and grow stronger. We love to mix in AMRAP workouts, otherwise known as “as many reps as possible.” They challenge both aerobic and anaerobic energy systems, enhancing cardiovascular fitness while promoting muscular endurance and strength. As you push your limits and work at your maximum capacity during AMRAP, you’ll build mental toughness and resilience.

Mix Up the Workouts: Incorporate a variety of conditioning exercises to target different muscle groups and energy systems. At Burn Boot Camp, we integrate a variety of conditioning workouts, such as metabolic conditioning workouts, cardiovascular exercises, high-intensity interval training, plyometrics, and functional movements. This mix prevents you from getting bored by keeping workouts new and exciting and ensures that you’re able to target different muscle groups and energy systems. This approach promotes balanced development and reduces the risk of overuse injuries.

Get Proper Nutrition and Hydration: Fuel your body with nutrient-rich foods and make sure to stay hydrated before, during, and after conditioning workouts. Proper nutrition and hydration are essential for your performance and post-Camp recovery. Our wide range of nutrition products will help you on every step of your fitness routine. Energize before Camp with Ignite, Burn Boot Camp’s pre-workout mix that contains 40 milligrams of caffeine in every scoop. Stay hydrated during your workout with our electrolyte mix, Replenish. Build muscle and recover from Camp with our protein products, like our Afterburn Protein powder, available in both whey and plant, and our delicious Afterburn Bars.

Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to how your body responds to conditioning workouts. Rest when needed, and don’t push through pain or fatigue that could lead to injury. Your body communicates its limits and signals fatigue through pain, discomfort, and exhaustion. Adjust your intensity, volume, or technique to avoid pushing beyond your physical capabilities. This mindful approach allows for safer and more sustainable progress in your conditioning journey.

Set Realistic Goals: Establish achievable short-term and long-term goals for your conditioning regimen. Having specific targets will help keep you motivated and focused on your progress. Now is the perfect time to set goals as we go through a three-exercise conditioning challenge throughout June. Whether you want to mod-up to a plyo surrender squat, master the jump rope doubles, or simply get through a round of burpees, setting realistic goals will help you measure your progress and see what your body is truly capable of.

Don’t Forget to Recover: Allow your body sufficient time to rest and recover between conditioning sessions. Adequate sleep, foam rolling, stretching, and other recovery techniques are essential for muscle repair and growth. Start your free 7-day trial or sign up for Burn On Demand for some post-Camp recovery and stretching. Join us on our series Recovery: Foam Rolling and Recovery: Stretching, or enjoy a yoga workout on our series, Motion.

NOW LET’S GET MOVING

Conditioning offers a myriad of benefits that contribute to overall health and fitness, and we recognize its importance by incorporating it into Protocol. By engaging in regular conditioning workouts, you can improve your cardiovascular health, muscular strength, and endurance. Conditioning can also boost metabolism and increases energy levels. It’s not just about physical transformation, it’s about discovering what you’re capable of and your personal growth. As you embrace the challenges, you’ll uncover strengths you never knew you had. What may have seemed daunting will evolve into a source of empowerment. Through consistency and dedication, you’ll not only achieve your fitness goals but also cultivate a love and appreciation for the journey itself, unlocking your full potential and embracing a healthier, happier way of life.

A Glimpse Into the Inspiring Stories of BURN https://burnbootcamp.com/a-glimpse-into-the-inspiring-stories-of-burn/ Tue, 28 May 2024 17:53:12 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2789682 Stories of Burn Nation

Burn Boot Camp has created an incredible tool to help you redefine your life. BURN: THE BURN BOOT CAMP 5-STEP STRATEGY FOR INNER AND OUTER STRENGTH is a book that breaks down a five-point plan to stop self-sabotage and break bad habits. BURN features powerful stories from Members, Trainers, and Franchise Partners throughout Burn Nation. They talk about the lessons learned throughout their journeys, their relatable struggles, and how they have overcome victories. Read some inspiring quotes from the incredible people featured in BURN below.

Cynthia Russe – Member

“In 2021, I got diagnosed with breast cancer… We had a Burn challenge and I drove to Georgia for that challenge. I had my wig on because I lost all my hair and my Burn sisters were encouraging me to drop my wig… so I took my wig off with the biggest embarrassment about being bald. I finished the challenge within the time… Right after the challenge, a Burn sister got inspired, God touched her heart, and she paid for a full year of membership for me which was a blessing because the medical bills were piling up… Thanks to that Burn sister, I’m still here.”

Jessica Winnie – Lead Trainer

“I always ask my Members, “What is your why, what is your reason for showing up today?” When I started, my ‘why’ was my dad… My dad was a huge fitness guy. He completed sixteen Iron Men, including the World Championships in Kona. He did countless marathons, triathlons, the whole nine yards. He was working out all the time and he really conveyed to me how important it was to workout and stay healthy, even though he loved his Snickers bars and M&Ms. I want to think that I convey his love of fitness everyday when I step on that floor with my Members.”

Karen Borgrud – Member

“I had chronic pain. It hurt for me to stand up from sitting. It hurt for me to stand too long. It hurt for me to walk too far… Then in July 2019, one month before I turned sixty, my daughter asked me to join her in a fourteen-day trial at Burn Boot Camp. That name itself was intimidating to me because I thought there was no way I could do that type of workout. I joined her and it was a challenge, but just walking into the gym, I felt so welcomed, so accepted, so encouraged… Now if I do have pain, the pain tends to come from my workout because I try to push myself to lift as much as I can.”

Brian Woodell – Member and Franchise Partner

“I really do believe that had it not been for Burn and taking that first step of discipline and just putting one step in front of the other, I wouldn’t have been able to remain sober. The effects of it have been wonderful and the life that I have now, I would never have been able to do it without that. I loved it so much that as I became a Member and became more engrained in it, I wanted to do something to help people in a way and pay it back. So I became a Franchise Partner and now I’m the owner of a Burn in Virginia, and just so thankful for the impact that Burn has on people’s lives.”

Tiffany Yager – Member

“After several months of chemotherapy, I ended up losing the ability to walk… When I was in the hospital, the chaplain that I met with almost everyday had tasked me to create a bucket list. This was not a list of ‘if I die’ but instead a list of ‘when I live.’ My list had three things on it. It was to take my children to Disney, to ride in my Jeep Wrangler with my top off, and to be healthy and strong enough to return to Burn Boot Camp. I completed all three last year… The main point I want to share is the power of a positive mindset. What you think is truly what you become. There’s no limitation to how strong our minds are.”

Kellie Sprouse – Member and Trainer

“A lot of times as wives and moms, or anybody that is working, we formulate this thinking that it’s selfish or an obsession to take care of your body. I had to reframe my thinking and as I did that, I watched it ripple into my family in the best way. If we can fuel our body properly and get our workouts in and feel stronger, we’re able to love and serve our community even better… It’s not about perfection and impossible standards; it’s about living a life I love for as long as possible.”

Samantha Rey – Member

“About six months after I had finished my major chemo and my daughter was about six months old, I fell into a very serious depression. It was horrible… I was on antidepressants, I went back to work, I was trying to eat better. Things were a little bit better, but I just didn’t feel like myself. One of my good friends encouraged me to try out Burn Boot Camp… I loved it! I started going and within a few months, I truly felt like myself again. Burn saved my life.”

Eliza Peterson – Member

“After I started working out consistently, I noticed not only physical changes, but changes to my mindset and how I was feeling. Once you feel happy, you never want to feel unhappy again, and I had forgotten how good it felt to feel good. I started being more conscious about my choices when it came to food, sleep, my relationship with others, and my work. I got to a healthy place physically, mentally, and emotionally, Most important, I now believe in myself and I have my life back.”

Gaige Kartchner – Member

“The first Camp was a wake-up call, pushing me to my limits and leaving me breathless, but it ignited a fire within me. From that point on, I was hooked on the intensity and camaraderie of Burn Boot Camp. Through unwavering consistency, I found that Burn not only helped me surpass my fitness goals, but also fostered a sense of belonging within the growing Burn community. Now, as a firm believer, I am not only transforming physically, but I am also embracing the strength and support that comes from being a part of an empowering community.”

Hope Gibson – Member

“Shortly after I started, I had already begun to give up my addictions. I did not want to fall off the wagon and get addicted again, so I was also fully committed to Burn. I can honestly say I have experienced a transformation like no other – mentally, spiritually, and physically. At first, I committed to attending at least four days a week. Now, I’m regularly at Camp six days a week without a single thought. The dopamine hit I was getting from the nicotine and Adderall had been replaced with dopamine from exercise. What an incredible gift. I got my life back.”

Drew Ford – Member

“I’ve been living with severe arthritis pain in my joints most of my adult life, which greatly limits my mobility. A year ago, I started resistance training, but I was too afraid to lift more than 10 pounds at a time on any given exercise. I felt I could do more, and I wanted to feel stronger and less fragile… We got to work, making sure I lifted a little more each week. I gradually started lifting 15 pounds, then 25 pounds, 30 pounds and more. It wasn’t always easy. There were days when I just didn’t want to try. But I did. I didn’t quit. And my progress amazed me.”

Tori Villareal – Member

“Although I still can barely do a burpee or wall sits, I am stronger than I have ever been. And not just physically – my journey has been far more mental. The past year has been a hell of a ride, and my journey is far from over. Hell, it probably never will be. I’m just grateful to have my family, my friends, my puppies, my art and music, and last, but not least, Burn for helping me rise from the ashes. The devil manifests itself in addiction, but at least now I’m a lot stronger to fight back.”

Elaine Tylus – Member

“I understood depression. I had tried medications, therapy and self-medicating. It would always come back after a while. I’d zigzag from optimism to despair and back again. Every day was different, and I muddled my way through… I was so nervous the first day that I forgot my shoes. I borrowed some and I completed my first Camp. I fell in love with it fast, and four years later, I’m working out six days a week. Because of this, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.”

Kifa – Member

When Kifa was a child, she experienced childhood abuse from her biological father and sexual abuse from her stepfather. “It bothers you all your life. It shattered my sense of safety, trust, and self-worth.” As a young adult at an age of 21, Kifa got pregnant and became a single mom. She felt lost and didn’t have a clear path for the future. Then in 2021, she made the life-changing decision to try Burn Boot Camp. She learned to value herself and what she’s capable of. She felt so strong and confident that she enlisted in the US Marines and began rebuilding her life for her son. Now, she is working toward becoming an officer and consistently scores at the top of her class with feats like 90-pound presses, three-minute planks, and weighted hikes.

Be Their Muscle: The Power of Community and Raising Money for MDA https://burnbootcamp.com/be-their-muscle-the-power-of-community-and-raising-money-for-mda/ Mon, 20 May 2024 13:31:09 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2789599 Throughout April, Members of Burn Nation came together to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). This is the 8th year that Burn Boot Camp has partnered with MDA for the ‘Be Their Muscle’ fundraising campaign. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve raised over $492,000 in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association thanks to the dedication and compassion of our Members. This incredible initiative saw our dedicated community come together with a singular purpose: to make a meaningful impact in the fight against muscular dystrophy.

‘Be Their Muscle’ symbolizes the strength, solidarity, and support that define the Burn Boot Camp community. It represents our collective commitment to standing alongside those affected by muscular dystrophy, offering our strength where it’s needed most. This initiative is about empowering and uplifting others, demonstrating that together, we can overcome any challenge. By participating in ‘Be Their Muscle,’ we embody the spirit of resilience, showcasing that our community’s true power lies in our ability to unite for a greater cause.

Because of the support of Burn Nation, we’re able to help the MDA empower those living with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related neuromuscular diseases. Here are just a few of the ways MDA uses these funds to help this important cause:

Research: Funds donated to MDA accelerate the discovery of therapies and cures. The research they have supported is directly linked to approved, life-changing therapies across multiple neuromuscular diseases. There have been over 20 FDA-approved treatments for neuromuscular diseases in just the past seven years.

Care: MDA funds the largest network of multidisciplinary clinics, providing best-in-class care at over 150 of the nation’s top medical institutions. They produce educational events and conferences for medical professionals and families. MDA also provides one-on-one support through their resource center.

Advocacy: MDA provides access to care and therapies from day one (newborn screening), which accelerates therapeutic development, empowerment, and independence (access to education, employment, travel).

Summer Camp (Virtual & In-person): Donations to MDA help support transformative, life-changing camp experiences to thousands of children and young adults ages 8-17. Kids learn vital life skills, make life- long friendships, and gain independence and confidence at no cost to families.

We’re so grateful for everyone who participated and donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, making ‘Be Their Muscle’ an unforgettable and life-changing experience. The generosity of our Members has not only helped raise money for MDA, but have also strengthened the bonds within our community. We’re inspired by this event to continue making a difference, both in our local communities and beyond. Together, we can achieve extraordinary things. Stay tuned for more opportunities to get involved and make an impact with Burn Boot Camp.
