When you’re crushing Camp workouts and chasing progress, you need nutrition that works as hard as you do. Here are some of your questions, with answers from the Burn experts you trust.

Q: Does it matter if I take creatine in the morning or at night?

A: Nope! Morning, night, during nap time, whenever it works best for you. The key is just taking it daily. Consistency beats time of day, hands down.

Q: Can I mix creatine and collagen into my coffee? Or is that not recommended?

A: Collagen? Absolutely, stir it in and sip away. Creatine? Not the best match. High heat might affect its absorption, but if adding it to your coffee helps you remember to take it, consistency wins again. Showing up daily is way more effective than chasing perfection.

Q: Of course, it is important to check with your doctor, but which nutrition products are usually pregnancy safe?

A: Your doctor always gets the final say, but protein powders, especially whey, are usually okay and are a great way to boost intake. Just watch the caffeine dose in your Ignite pre-workout (the general guideline is under 200mg/day). As for creatine, there’s not enough research on its use during pregnancy, so definitely pause and consult before continuing.

Q: Why would I want to drink Replenish over water?

A: While water is essential for hydration, it doesn’t replace the electrolytes and micronutrients your body loses through intense training, like fitness classes, or sweat. Replenish provides a targeted blend of electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals designed to support optimal hydration, muscle function, and recovery. It tastes delicious, which helps you stay hydrated and train harder, recover faster, and perform at your best.

Q: What are the benefits to taking Collagen

A: Collagen peptide supplementation helps maintain your skin’s elasticity and firmness, supports joint flexibility, promotes muscle growth, and enhances post-workout recovery. We recommend taking 10 grams of Collagen per day, which is our serving size, to see these benefits.

Becoming An Award-Winning Franchise Partner with Holly Strickland https://burnbootcamp.com/becoming-an-award-winning-franchise-partner-with-holly-strickland/ Tue, 22 Oct 2024 15:26:35 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2791281 “You never know what someone is going through. You don’t know if their home life is horrible or if they hate their job. What we do know is that the 45 minutes they come in are going to be the best 45 minutes of their day. That’s why I take this role so seriously – because I know what that 45 minutes can do for someone’s life.”

Holly Strickland joined Burn Boot Camp Naples as the Head Trainer nearly nine years ago. Now as the owner and Franchise Partner of the same location, she gets to live her core values every day and see countless transformations right in her gym. “I couldn’t imagine Burn not in my life. When they say you ‘bleed blue’ I truly do. I love this brand and everything it represents. The core values are so close to mine and I truly believe that when you put people first you win,” she said about the impact Burn has in her life.

Now, Holly is thriving in her life as a Burn Boot Camp Franchise Partner. She received the Single-Unit Franchise Partner of the Year award in 2023 and was the first to receive Burn Boot Camp’s Mark of Excellence award. Her location in Naples, Florida has also been part of the Million Dollar Club and Fire Club, where the top qualifying gyms get to celebrate their achievements on an international trip. “I just feel blessed. I feel really blessed and really lucky,” Holly says about her experience as a Burn Boot Camp owner.

Read our interview with Holly to learn more about what life as a Burn Boot Camp Franchise Partner is like and how it’s changed not only her life but the lives of her Naples, Florida community as well. Learn more about our franchising opportunities or set up a call with our team to talk about what Burn Boot Camp ownership could mean for you.

What is it like to change lives every day in your gym?

Holly: I think that through owning Burn, there’s a fulfillment you get when Members tell you their story and what these four walls have done for them. To be able to experience and provide that for your community, it’s humbling.

Being front row to the transformations is empowering. Some people walk in here and you can tell they have no confidence whatsoever. They would wear baggy shirts and then all of a sudden they would start wearing tank tops and tighter pants. That transformation, for me, is probably one of the most common ones. Our job is to show people that they can be confident.

What is your favorite part about being a leader in your gym?

Holly: I always wanted to be the boss that I never had, but also build my leaders up and continue to show them how they can grow and be leaders to their teams. One of my favorite things in leadership is watching my team grow and how they grow with me. It’s been amazing to see. My Operations Manager started in Childwatch, then became the Childwatch Lead, and then became our Burn Ambassador. Now she’s the Operations Manager and she is an absolute rockstar.

What sets Burn Boot Camp apart from other franchises?

Holly: What makes Burn different is the community. There’s just nothing like it. When someone has something going on in their lives, this community will wrap their arms around each other like I’ve never seen before. When you walk in these doors, there’s no drama. It’s crazy when you have over 500 women in the same space and there’s no drama. It’s just an amazing place where women support women and they’re always there for each other.

What support do you get as a Burn Boot Camp owner?

Holly: It’s been a great journey having a partner in Headquarters. I didn’t join Burn with a degree in business or experience in that field. It’s scary to open a gym, but what makes it a little less scary, or maybe a lot less scary, is to know that you have that support. I love knowing that if something goes wrong, I have someone I can call. Someone who can help me solve a problem and find a solution. Having that partner with the brand just gives you an additional layer of confidence to be able to take that leap of faith and jump into a business like this.

What is one of your favorite parts about being a Burn Boot Camp Franchise Partner?

Holly: One of my favorite things about being a Franchise Partner is the flexibility that it provides. Yes, there are days that I’m here at 4:30 or 5:00 in the morning with the girls, but I also can leave at 3:00 PM to get my son if I need to. That’s one of the best parts of the gig, having that flexibility.

How does Burn Boot Camp align with your core values?

Holly: One of our core values is being authentic. That is one of the most important things in my life, always showing up as who I am. When you look at all of our core values in general, they all align with not only who I want myself to be, but also my son. I want to teach him those core values. I want to teach him that he can do all the things he wants to do in his life. Showing up in your most authentic self is a huge thing we try to make sure we’re encompassing in him.

How do you see yourself growing within Burn Boot Camp?

Holly: I’m always going to challenge myself to mentor and help other people. That’s something that I take seriously. You learn when you help someone help. I’m on the MAC for Burn Boot Camp Headquarters right now, which is the Marketing Advisory Council. That’s just one way that I want to continue to grow.

The second way is that we hope to open a second Burn Boot Camp location to continue to empower the Naples community. One of the reasons that I’m so motivated to continue to grow is because I know the impact that this gym makes on people’s lives. It’s something I’ve never seen before. It may be a mental transformation, it may be a physical transformation, or it may be someone who wants to show up to just be a better mom or wife. I think all those transformations are extremely valid. That’s what continues to drive my passion to grow and have another facility.

We have many Franchise Partners and HQ employees with incredible journeys. We recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Nicole Odom, Director of Field Operations, as she took us on a remarkable journey, reflected on her experiences in the Navy, and shared the valuable lessons she has learned along the way. As a former member of the military, Nicole discusses how her time in the service prepared her for persistence, adaptability, and multitasking. She highlights the challenges she faced, including being unable to graduate from flight school, which served as a pivotal moment in her life, teaching her the importance of perseverance and resilience in the face of failure.

Nicole also reveals the profound impact her military service had on her personal growth and relationships. She emphasizes the lasting friendships she formed and the realization that she is capable of accomplishing difficult tasks. As a woman in a male-dominated industry, Nicole faced unique challenges, but she discovered her voice, learned to stand up for her beliefs, and recognized the importance of knowing her worth.

Franchise Partner On Fire https://burnbootcamp.com/franchise-partner-on-fire/ Tue, 19 Apr 2022 19:48:52 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2784739 Lauren Nelson’s Ten Year Journey with Burn Boot Camp

With Burn celebrating our 10th anniversary this week, it is only fitting that we sit down with one of our original Franchise Partners, Lauren Nelson. Lauren’s Burn journey starts like any other; she was a loyal member who was in love with her community, obsessed with the workouts, and couldn’t get enough of the bleed blue culture. Her biggest goal was to start a family but she never saw herself as a business owner. When the opportunity presented itself just a few months after she and her husband Tony welcomed their first child, she knew it was in God’s plan to have a career as well.  Owning a Burn Boot Camp allowed her to be at home with her growing family (she now has three children!) and still pour into a job she loves.

Becoming a Franchise Partner with Burn Boot Camp gave Lauren the work/life balance she once only dreamed of.

In 2015 she found out they were expecting their first child, and by 2016 they had signed on to own the Burn Bethel Park location. “I just started asking questions. I had no idea how to own a business. Nothing I asked was ever met with resistance – I was never made to feel silly or inexperienced. Burn made it so easy to feel like this was the right move to make.” -Lauren

Lauren fought the mental battle of feeling torn between her dream of being a stay-at-home mom and becoming a Franchise Partner with Burn. She’s an innate lover of people, a goal-setter, and a team player, which comes from her collegiate athletic background (she’s also a beast on the floating floor!) Throughout the onboarding process, she kept waiting for a sign not to move forward with the business, that it would take time away from her family, but that sign never came!

Burn Bethel Park is coming up on its 5th anniversary, and Lauren just signed on for another five years with Burn, making her journey with us over a decade. Hear from her below on ownership and how it’s impacted all areas of her life:

Congratulations on five years open! What made you sign on for another five years with Burn?

“It was a no-brainer for us. Five more years means more changed lives, more impact in the Bethel Park community, and more doing life with our amazing team. We are so invested in the future of this community and our training team. Burn, in and of itself, is an investment in people, and that’s something we are so proud to be a part of.”-Lauren

How would you describe your last five years with Burn?

“Constant fulfillment in ALL areas of life. Physical, mental, emotional. It covers all the bases. We struggled through the pandemic just like everyone else, but coming out on the other side together has been so rewarding. The gym was one of the only constants in such a time of uncertainty, and it’s one that we all needed.” -Lauren

“Think of Burn Boot Camp like the most loyal friend you’ve ever had.”

What are you looking forward to accomplishing with your team and the Bethel Park community in the next five years?

“The freaking 500 club!!!! We can’t wait to grow the PA market, take over the city, continue to plant roots for the brand” -Lauren

What have you learned about your leadership, and what are you taking with you in the next five?

“We are so much stronger together. We’re better leaders when we’re transparent with our teams. It allows us to grow together. I really love doing life with my team, and professional goal setting is just as important to us as the personal. We find that the more we share, the more we grow. My team holds me accountable, and I couldn’t do this without them.” -Lauren

In the past five years, how has your Burn journey impacted your family?

“I never thought I would be able to have a work/life balance until I became an owner with Burn. My kids grew up in the gym, and they see me live by example. They know that Mom works, and she loves what she gets to do. They know I live to serve, and I am fulfilling God’s plan for me. Being able to put my family first, above all else, is the reason I bought into Burn in the first place, and that still holds true years later. Burn only promotes positive things in the mind, body, and spirit. That’s the way my husband and I live, so it’s so important that our core values are represented in what we get to do for a living.” -Lauren

Career Dreams Can Come True As A Burn Boot Camp Franchise Partner https://burnbootcamp.com/career-dreams-can-come-true-as-a-burn-boot-camp-franchise-partner/ Wed, 13 Apr 2022 13:59:36 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2784731 Holly Strickland, Franchise Partner at Burn Boot Camp Naples, Florida, has been a part of the Burn family from the beginning.  Her passion for fitness came to life in college where she earned her degree in Sports & Fitness with a minor in coaching & fitness training.

Our founders, Devan and Morgan, lived in Naples before starting Burn Boot Camp and met Holly and her family through mutual friends. The Klines and Holly stayed connected when Morgan and Devan moved to Charlotte, and they knew Naples was one of the first cities they wanted to plant blue roots down.

“This is going to be the biggest thing ever. You have to join us.” -Devan, during one of his first phone calls with Holly about Burn Boot Camp

Simply stated, this woman is helping us take the fitness industry by storm. Holly’s passion, drive, and motivation to inspire, empower and transform her community is why Burn Nation is what it is today. Learn more about how important it is to be an audacious goal setter and some hacks to “doing it all” in her full interview with Morgan

What was on your mind when you first became a Franchise Partner?

“I had no idea what I was doing at first. I think there is a mindset that you must have a background in accounting or operations to run a business, and you don’t. If I can do this successfully, anyone can. A lot of the first years I was just winging it.” -Holly

What is your best advice for a future Franchise Partner?

“Hire into your weaknesses! If there is something you are not strong in, find and hire someone who is.” -Holly

How do you wear so many hats, juggling a firefighter’s schedule, your son, and the gym?

“I am an excellent napper and really believe in recharging so you can show up 100%! Haha. But really – organization is the name of the game. It’s key to being successful in all areas.” -Holly

Do you have any favorite moments with members being a trainer and Franchise Partner?

“I am so emotional when people hit goals. Focus meetings and transformation stories are some of my fondest memories. I truly believe in our members and when I see them put their heart and soul into their work at the gym, it really moves me.” -Holly

From a parking lot to a cohesive fitness community- this brand has come a long way in its 10 years. They first conceptualized the idea of Burn Boot Camp in a gymnastics center parking lot in 2012.

The fitness landscape is ever-evolving and we approach franchising in a vastly different way. The brand has matured since its parking lot days. In just a decade, the brand has grown an inclusive franchise network to over 300 locations, with big plans to hit 500 gyms by the year 2023.

A Cause Worth Rallying Behind https://burnbootcamp.com/a-cause-worth-rallying-behind/ Thu, 09 Dec 2021 14:15:10 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2784435 Burn Boot Camp recently teamed up with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) for their annual national ‘Be Their Muscle’ philanthropic event to raise $504,756 for the MDA. The ‘Be Their Muscle’ campaign supports MDA’s mission to empower the lives of kids and adults living with muscular dystrophy, ALS and over 43 neuromuscular diseases to fund research, care, and advocacy so families can live longer and grow stronger.

This year, more than 295 individual gyms across Burn Nation were represented in our second-highest fundraising effort since we began our partnership with the MDA over 5 years ago. A big thank you to our incredible members, Franchise Partners and their teams for showing up in a big way to support the MDA.

Burn Boot Camp Founder and COO, Morgan Kline, recently shared her thoughts on the importance of community impact and a commitment to a charitable partnership with Global Franchise. In the article she states, “Over the past few years, we at Burn Boot Camp have seen how working with the MDA has connected us to our community and strengthened our bond with our team members and members.”

A Cause Worth Rallying Behind – Why Your Business Should Prioritize Charitable Efforts

By Morgan Kline (This story was originally published by Global Franchise)

Most people have an inherent desire to connect with others and be a part of something larger than themselves. Between work, family, and other commitments, our sense of purpose can weaken, or even feel lost, as we try to keep up in our fast-moving world.

This is leading to a record number of people looking to merge the two worlds – they’re leaving their jobs in search of a career that will allow them to make meaningful connections to satisfy that desire and find purpose in their work. Now is the time for businesses across all industries to step up and demonstrate a social conscience.

Since its inception, community impact has been a crucial component of Burn Boot Camp’s DNA and a top priority across the system. This is why we have an ongoing partnership with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). The annual philanthropic ‘Be Their Muscle’ event supports MDA’s mission to empower the lives of kids and adults living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and over 43 neuromuscular diseases to fund research, care, and advocacy so families can live longer and grow stronger. In correlation with the event, Burn Boot Camp locations across the country host a workout on a specific day, with 100% of the proceeds directly benefitting MDA to send hundreds of children living with muscular dystrophy to a life-changing summer camp.

Over the past few years, we at Burn Boot Camp have seen how working with the MDA has connected us to our community and strengthened our bond with our team members and members. The below insight and advice are meant to help franchisors understand the value and importance of prioritizing charitable efforts and the benefits it will have on the business.

Having a Charitable Partner Brings Your Company Mission to Life

There are many franchisors that include messaging in their mission statement about how they want to have an impact on their community or be a part of the bigger picture. But the question is, what are they doing to act on that mission statement?

The mission of Burn Boot Camp is to empower individuals to build confidence and happiness that will transcend fitness into a community of mentally, emotionally, and physically strong people. We wanted to pick a cause that worked well with what we believe in doing every day. Both Burn and the MDA believe in building strength through unity, which allowed us to align and come together on our goals and missions.

Having a charitable partner should be seen as an investment a business is making in their community, employees, and brand. It helps increase public awareness of your initiative and dedication to the cause by demonstrating that tangible steps are being taken to follow through on your promises. Not to mention, it will help educate and drive awareness towards the cause and charity – a win-win.

Strengthen Community Morale and Involvement

At Burn Boot Camp, our community is dedicated to educating, influencing, and inspiring every life with knowledge, love, strength, and passion. So, we knew our members would share our passion for MDA and building awareness on their efforts.

To further build on existing community relationships, or to create ones, connect with local businesses to see if there is interest in joining the cause. Maybe it’s as simple as putting up a flyer for a charity event at the local coffee shop or an effort that’s a little more involved, such as asking a local vendor to participate alongside you or make a donation. Relationships built on strong grounds with the common interest of something like supporting a charity can prove to be useful down the road.

When one employee or organization in a community dedicates themselves wholeheartedly to a cause, it has the potential to spread like wildfire and bring in others who are interested in contributing to the cause as well.

Organizations are expected to do more than provide quality goods and services to customers and a paycheck to employees. Consumers and employees are looking for businesses to go the extra mile and support local, or national, causes in their community. A study done by Cone Communications found that 90% of the customers surveyed said they would support a company that championed a cause they care about. Supporting a charity or specific cause can also go as far as helping attract and retain members and talent.

Things to Consider When Selecting a Charitable Partner

Select a charitable cause or partner that instills a common thread of passion and excitement across the business. To ensure that you are aligning with your employees, include them in the process. Ask them to submit or share their ideas, interests and passions, and include them in the planning process so they feel represented.

Once you’ve received input from others in your organization, make sure you are selecting a cause that you know your brand can support. Compile a list of potential initiatives that could be conducted systemwide such as in-person events or week-long supply drives, or whatever it may be. Also ask yourself if the business has the appropriate means and resources required to see the effort through. When you enter into a philanthropic partnership, you want to make sure you have a clear idea and vision on the execution.

Philanthropy has the power to have a profound impact on your franchise system. It will rally together your franchisees, home office team members, and community while providing the best platform to engage with your current and potential members. Franchise brands that prioritize philanthropy will reap the benefits of a strengthened system of partners that will have a direct impact on bottom-line results.

LIVING FULLY: Daring To Step Into Your Best Life https://burnbootcamp.com/franchising-the-great-resignation/ Mon, 15 Nov 2021 16:22:31 +0000 https://burnbootcamp.com/?p=2784372 With Franchise Partners Chelsea Theodoropoulos and Tina Hegna

The Great Resignation, also known as the Big Quit, is the ongoing trend of employees voluntarily leaving their corporate jobs, from spring 2021 to the present, largely in the United States. The resignations have been characterized as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, but another factor is burnout. Some teams have been running too hot for too long. The pandemic has changed how some people think about life, work, and what they want out of both. It’s made people step back and rethink their lives. In the last 20 months, we have all been reminded that life is too short.

Gone are the days where the term “entrepreneur” was this unattainable status that was only given to people who got really lucky or had a ton of money to throw around. The beauty of entrepreneurship isn’t in the accolades, the respect, the money, or the status. The beauty is in the hustle, the scrappy, and the know-how. It’s in the resourcefulness to get things done when they seem impossible, and impact others lives in ways you never thought possible. It’s ignoring other people who tell you that you won’t. It’s ignoring yourself when you say “I can’t”

The Burn family is full of inspiring go-getters who have created the life they wanted. Hear from two of our powerful family members and Franchise Partners below as they share their personal stories that led them to take the leap headfirst from the corporate world into being their own business owner.

Chelsea Theodoropoulos, multi-unit Franchise Partner of Burn O’Fallon, MO, Manchester, MO, South County, MO, and Kirkwood, MO and Tina Hegna, Franchise Partner of Burn Maple Grove, MN and more locations coming soon.

Chelsea Theodoropoulos, multi-unit Franchise Partner of Burn O’Fallon, MO, Manchester, MO, South County, MO, and Kirkwood, MO

What did you do before Burn Boot Camp?

“I started my career in Corporate America and transitioned to small business working for my Husband’s IT Consulting business. The lessons I learned during my time in Corporate have been invaluable and have aided in my small business success.” Chelsea Theodoropoulos

“I am an accountant! I’m excited for this next chapter in my midlife and putting my strengths and dreams together, owning who I am, what I’m about, and daringly sharing it with the world.” Tina Hegna

How does being a business owner compare to working in a corporate environment?

Impact and freedom. I love being in control of my own destiny and working towards a greater purpose for myself and others. Carrying a “sink or swim” load of responsibility gives more depth and meaning to the work I put in.”  Chelsea Theodoropoulos

“I’ve really enjoyed and benefited from learning organizational structure and business foundational elements such as a vision, a mission and a set of values. I have also been trained for well over a decade on all things leadership, and have had incredible exposure to all levels of professionals and Boards of Directors. This experience has given me many skills that I have been able to apply to owning a business and creating these things for my own organization.” Tina Hegna

What does the decision process look like for you to go from owning one location to owning multiple?

“It’s a big decision every time. Expanding is inherently risky so minimizing this risk by ensuring I have the proper resources, funding, team and a solid foundation are key elements to success.” Chelsea Theodoropoulos

“My “why” was raging strong – I wanted to share what I felt and witnessed with others since it was so life changing for me and many people around me. I also knew multiple successful locations would be what it took to make the leap away from the corporate environment. I didn’t know for sure I could do more until I knew I could do one really well. I’m excited to share Burn with another community.” Tina Hegna

Why Burn?

“It’s a platform to help others, create opportunities and fulfill my entrepreneurial ambitions. Burn Boot Camp changed my life and paying it forward to others connects my work to a greater purpose.” Chelsea Theodoropoulos

“This question is simple but heavy. I always wanted to be an entrepreneur but never stuck a landing on what that business would be. However, I knew the elements of what that looked like and I knew my why – I just didn’t have the how or the what yet. Further, I had always thought I would need to create something new. The more I learned about Burn, the more I realized that THIS is how I deliver my why. I didn’t have to create it from scratch – why would I recreate the wheel?!?! As I was unlocking the strongest version of myself I had ever known (physically, mentally, emotionally), I was also seeing this in the lives around me. I felt compelled to share this with the world, join the Burn mission and impact one community at a time.” Tina Hegna

What advice would you give those who are thinking about leaving corporate to become their own business owner?

“Do your homework. You will never be fully prepared for the journey, but with a good plan, support system and drive to succeed, you can better chart your own course.” Chelsea Theodoropoulos

“KNOW. YOUR. WHY. In the toughest times, you MUST remember why you started. When there is a fire in your soul for your why, you always find a way. ” Tina Hegna

What are your goals for your location (and it’s members)?

“Sustainable growth. Business: Creating a solid foundation of processes, top talent and a strong culture for future growth. Members: Educating and creating confidence for our members to adopt life-long habits for continued success.” Chelsea Theodoropoulos

Chelsea Theodoropoulos left the corporate world to open Burn Boot Camp locations.

“Burn is the members’ happy place, their safe place, their other home, their other family. It’s where they come to be themselves, but also to push themselves and be the best version of themselves when they are outside of those four walls. To always feel inspired and empowered on a life long journey of growth, and along the way to feel happy, confident and beautiful inside and out. That they, too, can chase their dreams and conquer the world – no matter how big or small they want that impact to be.” Tina Hegna

These meatless meatballs are loaded with veggies, protein, and flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups lentils, cooked according to the back of the package

  • ¾ cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 cups of mushrooms, chopped (8 oz package)

  • ½ cup white onion, chopped ( about half of an onion)

  • ¼ cup nutritional yeast

  • 1 tsp dried basil

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp garlic powder, substitute for chopped garlic

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp pepper

  • 2 tsp oil, I used avocado oil

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (176.6 C). Spray baking pan with cooking oil or line it with parchment paper and set it aside.
  • Heat a skillet to medium heat and add the mushrooms, onions and oil. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until ingredients become soft. Do not drain the extra liquid from the skillet. You will transfer all of it to the food processor.
  • In a food processor or high powered blender, combine the cooked lentils, mushrooms, onions, breadcrumbs, nutritional yeast, basil, thyme, oregano, garlic salt, and pepper. Pulse ingredients until it becomes a dough-like texture.
  • Using a cookie scoop or medium spoon scoop, the meatball mixture. Using your hands pack it into firm balls. Avoid rolling the meatballs on the counter, it will dry it out.
  • Evenly place the meatballs on the baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Transfer 1 -2 cups of marinara sauce to the bottom of your baking pan.
  • Arrange the meatballs in the pan with the sauce. Using a spoon slowly move the meatballs in the sauce covering them. Add back to the oven to warm through, about 7-10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle meatballs with mozzarella cheese, crushed red pepper, and chopped parsley. Pair with pasta, eat, and enjoy!

Notes

  • After cooking your onions and mushrooms don’t drain the extra liquid. Add everything from your pan to the food processor.

ARE YOU GLUTEN FREE?

Make this meal gluten-free by substituting the breadcrumbs for gluten-free breadcrumbs. If you are pairing the meatballs with pasta make it gluten-free or substitute it for spiraled noodles.

When baking your vegan meatballs you will want to place them on a baking pan about 2 inches apart. By placing them out evenly you will ensure that they all will be cooked evenly. Bake vegan meatballs for 20 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (176.6 C).

After baking your meatballs you will want to let them cool for 5-10 minutes. Using a baking dish or cast iron pan add about 1-2 cups of pasta sauce to the bottom of the  pan. Add the vegan meatballs on top of the sauce and gently roll them around to cover them in sauce. Add the pan back to the oven to warm through, about 7-10 minutes.

Top your meatballs with your favorite garnishes. Some of my favorites include, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese,  nutritional yeast, crushed red peppers and Italian herbs either dried or fresh.
